Linc
was founded in Porter, Texas USA in 1959 and to this day they manufacture and
supply level controls and metering pumps as their core products.
Ironically
Linc was purchased by YZ Industries in the late 1990’s. YZ Industries is also
supported and distributed by I.C.E. YZ are specialists in the supply of
complete odourant injection systems. Early in the new millennium YZ/Linc was
purchased by Milton Roy and subsequently all manufacturing is currently carried
out in the Ivy land Pennsylvania Manufacturing Facility.
In
1993 International Chemicals Engineering (I.C.E) began supplying the Linc range
in
I.C.E
specialise in the addition of Gas Odourant into Natural Gas and LPG. Gas is
normally odourless and therefore needs to have an odour added. The product
added gives the Natural Gas and LPG and the unique “gassy” smell. The product
added is commonly known as Gas Odourant which is made from Mercaptans and
Sulphides. The addition of Gas Odourants into LPG and Ethyl Mercaptan is highly
specialised function and I.C.E has over ninety years experience in the gas
odourant business.
I.C.E
also uses the pneumatic metering pumps in intrinsically safe chemical injection
applications. The pneumatic metering pumps are used throughout the oil and gas
industry and other industries intrinsically safe facilities.
